In the spring of 2004, Pomona College President David W.
Oxtoby charged the Alumni Association Board of Directors
with developing a strategic plan for its next five years.
The following year, the Board, in collaboration with Alumni
Relations staff and an ad hoc Strategic Planning Committee,
developed the Pomona College
Alumni Association Strategic Plan, July 2005 - June 2010  ,
which was approved by the Board at the June 4, 2005 Alumni
Association Board meeting.

Annual Fund Alumni Network |
|
The Annual Fund Alumni Network's mission is to encourage all alumni to contribute to Pomona's Annual Fund, which provides vital support for the College's operating budget through unrestricted gifts.
Alumni volunteers are recruited for phonathons, promoting an awareness of the value of annual giving in terms of both dollars and participation levels, and serving as an advisory group for the Annual Giving staff regarding methods and messages for solicitation.
Volunteers take part in several phonathons, send solicitation letters to alumni we can't reach by phone during the year, make calls from their homes, are asked to help in site selection for regional calling events, and are encouraged to be an active part of local Pomona chapters as an Annual Fund liaison. This
network is staffed by the Office of Annual Giving.
