Reunions & Alumni Weekend
Volunteer to help plan your reunion! Alumni are needed to contact
classmates, make name tags, serve as hosts and greeters, and generate
excitement for returning to campus for Alumni Weekend. Not your reunion
year? You can still help by serving as a volunteer. Help escort a class
throughout alumni weekend (class parade, meals, parties, etc.). It's a
great way to meet people from other classes and get warmed up for your
own reunion!
Regional Programming
Pomona alumni settle all over the world. Are you interested in meeting
other Sagehens and perhaps helping to plan an alumni event? Then let us
know! Regional events include faculty lectures, cultural events,
community service projects, hikes, happy hours--the list goes on and on.
Get involved and connect back to Pomona, no matter how far from campus
you may live.

Alumni Admissions Volunteers |

Join the Alumni Admissions Volunteer Program (AAV) and
help attract outstanding students to Pomona College through assisting in
recruitment and yield activities in your local area. Here's how you can help:
- Interview prospective applicants
- Attend
college fair programs hosted by particular high schools
- Contact admitted students to
encourage them to attend Pomona
- Host or attend receptions for admitted students in selected cities
There are more than 500 alumni who participate in this program, helping the
College extend its
reach and visibility. Volunteers--particularly interviewers--living outside Southern California are
especially valuable.

Calling all Sagehens!
Help us communicate the importance of giving annually to The Annual
Fund—as a member of the Annual Fund Alumni Network, or a Reunion Fund
Committee. Pomona relies on gifts to The Annual Fund from alumni,
parents, and friends to help meet the top needs of the College, from
financial aid to faculty salaries. Join the team and help spread the

career-related web links, learn about alumni career counseling options,
search Alumni Job Connections, and visit one of the nation's most
comprehensive career libraries.
Looking for volunteer opportunities to connect with current students?
The CDO presents numerous programs each year that connect alumni with
students to share career experience and wisdom. You can:
- Serve as an
Alumni Career Advisor. Be part of a password-protected database that is
accessed by students and alumni to gain career advice and
suggestions. Sign up to be available via e-mail, phone or in person. Or
volunteer for career panels or presentations and come to campus to talk
with students about their career interests and your experience.
- Connect your organization to Pomona through On-Campus
Recruiting. Provide job or internship contacts at your
organization for current students. Your advocacy can make the difference
in getting your employer to recruit Pomona students.
