To be counted as work completed in the course, all papers, reports, drawings, and other assigned
material must be submitted to instructors by the course’s regularly scheduled final exam time each
semester, unless an earlier date has been specified by the instructor.

Any class with conflicts using the regular final exam schedule |
* All Pomona lower-division language courses numbered 1-51 which have multiple sections have a common final examination at this time except
FREN044 at Pomona which
does not have a common final examination; use the class times on the grid above for FREN044 PO
sections to determine when the final examination will take place.
Petitions for change of final examination dates must be submitted
one week before classes end (on or before Wednesday, December 3, 2008).
Petitions for Incomplete grades must be submitted one week before
classes end (on or before Wednesday, December 3, 2008). For situations that arise
after that date, the deadline is the second Reading Day (Friday, December 12,
2008).
Reading days: Thursday and Friday of the last week of classes each
semester will be designated as Reading Days (Thursday, December 11, and Friday,
December 12,
2008). Classes will be suspended but
professors may hold study sessions to review previous coursework. No new
material may be introduced at study sessions. The Wednesday prior to finals
week will be designated the last day of classes.
Completion of work: To be counted as work completed in the course,
all papers, reports, drawings, computer programs or projects, or other
assigned exercises must be turned in to instructors by the course’s regularly
scheduled final exam time each semester,
unless an earlier date has been specified
by the instructor.
Final examinations: Final examinations in all courses may be
required at the option of instructors. If required, such examinations must
also be taken by seniors in their final semester, although their final
examinations need not be equivalent in size or length to those required of
other students.
INSTRUCTORS MAY NOT CHANGE FINAL
EXAMINATION DATES WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE ACADEMIC PROCEDURES COMMITTEE.
Examinations for individual students may not be given at other than the
scheduled times or places except by consent of the Academic Procedures
Committee. During the last five days of any semester, no final
examinations shall be given, and no extra class meetings outside the normal
class schedule may be scheduled. These restrictions do not apply to
voluntary review sessions or to final examinations
for seniors in their last semester.
