Alumni Weekend Approaching

On May 2-4, 2008, Sagehens who graduated in classes ending in the numbers 3 and 8 will return to Claremont for their reunions. Start making plans by reserving your hotel room today. The Sheraton Suites Fairplex is already sold out, but there are still rooms available at the Sheraton Ontario Airport Hotel (800-582-2946). Awards Nominations
The Alumni Association is always accepting nominations for the Blaisdell Distinguished Alumni Award, the Alumni Distinguished Service Award and the Inspirational Young Alumni Award. Welcome to the Alumni Board
Under the leadership of President Carlos Garcia ’73, the Alumni Association welcomed six new board members this year: David Brunk, associate dean of admissions; Elspeth Hilton ’08, ASPC president; Alma Martinez, assistant professor of theatre; Mary Ellen Kilsby ’56, a member-at-large from Long Beach, Calif.; Cynthia Linton ’75, a member-at-large from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; and Vicki Ramos ’98, a member-at-large from Alhambra, Calif.

Errata
2006-07 Honor Roll of Donors: Torchbearer gifts from Michio Brunner ’02 and Gary Kates were omitted from the Class of 2002 and Friends sections. A Norton Torchbearer gift from James S. and Gayle ’63 Tunnell was omitted from the Class of 1963 and Torchbearer sections. An Associates gift from Harold Stromsem ’38 was omitted from the Class of 1938 section. A gift in remembrance of Martha (Milbank) Mueller ’46 by her husband, Robert H. Mueller, was not listed in the In Memoriam section. 

Fall 2007 issue of PCM: The title for one of the books by Vera Nazarian ’88 was incorrect. It should have been called The Salt of the Air.
