PO-EA Award Winners 2012May 15, 2012
Pomona had a wonderful graduation today – balmy, soft breezes, lots of joy! And also great news of the number of PO-EA majors who received awards yesterday at class day. Loud cheers to Emery Donovan, who graduated Magna, and won the EA Program award for her work in and out of the classroom; Hsuanwei Fan, who nabbed the Cecil Short Memorial Prize in Music; Jenya Kahn-Lang received a Lorne D. Cooke Memorial Award in Economics; Thuy Ly was awarded the Ted Gleason Award, on the basis of college service as a student of color; and Will Savage was awarded a Morris B. Pendleton Prize in Economics. Their achievements are a wonderful reflection of all the hard work, initiative, and energy that collectively the EA Class of 2012 poured into their life on campus and in the community
