Professor Hardin receives Hogg Award at JMM

Professor Johanna Hardin was awarded the Robert V. Hogg Award for Excellence in Teaching Introductory Statistics by the Special Interest Group of the Mathematical Association of America (SIGMAA) on Statistics Education. The award recognizes an individual who has been teaching introductory statistics between three and fifteen years and has shown both excellence and growth in teaching during that time. It is named in honor of Robert V. Hogg who won numerous teaching accolades and was a passionate advocate for statistics education. Professor Hardin received the award at the Joint Math Meetings in Baltimore, MD, January 16, 2014.
