Loft Bunks & Beds

A Native American word meaning "happy place," Halona has been a quiet, restful, retreat center for Pomona College students, faculty, staff and alumni for decades. Halona is made available for College related activities throughout the entire year and is available for use by Pomona College faculty, staff and alumni for personal use outside of the academic year. Halona is located in Idyllwild, California about one and one half hours from campus by car.

General Info

Halona's accommodations include a Great Room for dining, activities and entertainment. The full service kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and silverware.  The kitchen pantry holds several board games and puzzles. Sleeping accommodations consists of bunks and beds to sleep 22 people. The three bathrooms are supplied with toilet paper and hand soap.
