The Career Development Office offers two distinguished internship programs. The programs aid students in the process of exploring and determining a career path, gain a rich understanding of a particular field and/or organization, build and grow their professional networks, and enhance the understanding of how their liberal arts education will be applied in a professional work environment.

The Pomona College Internship Program (PCIP) provides students with a part-time internship in the greater Los Angeles area. The program helps Pomona students gain valuable pre-professional experience and explore career paths, while making meaningful contributions to partnering organizations.
The Career Development Office offers funding for unpaid or low paying summer experiences. The funding awards encourage students to pursue career exploration through various summer opportunities in all fields. Students must have an internship/research offer prior to applying or be in the final stages of the organization's application process. The CDO will assist students in their search as we have access to over 6,000 opportunities from across the country and the world through the Liberal Arts Career Network (LACN) as well as other resources.
The CDO has compiled an extensive list of housing resources and opportunities in major cities throughout the US to help you find reliable housing for your summer internship.
