Pomona College Mark

The Pomona College mark is the identifying symbol of Pomona College used in most official College graphic communications. It may not be used by for any purpose unrelated to College programs or activities without express permission of the Office of Communications. Please consult the Pomona College Graphic Standards Guide [pdf] for specific information about how the mark should and should not be used. For assistance in using these graphics, please contact the Office of Communications.

All files are in Adobe Illustrator 8.0 EPS or TIFF format. TIFF files compressed as .zip files.

4-color College Mark - no border

Use: The 4- color College Mark with no border is for 4-color (CMYK) printing when used against a light background. If the mark is to be placed against a dark background, please use the College Mark with white border. The .eps version is a vector-based graphic that can be resized to any proportions. The .tiff version is a bitmapped graphic at 300 dpi, that can be used only at actual size or smaller and against a white background.

Use: The 1-color College Mark is for use in 1- or 2-color printing when printed in black or a spot color. The .eps version is a vector-based graphic that can be resized to any proportions. The .tiff version is a bitmapped graphic at 300 dpi that can be used only at actual size or smaller. If you wish to apply a spot color to the graphic in Quark XPress or PageMaker, you should used the .tiff version. The official color is Pantone 287.
