Academic coaching offers evidence-based specialized academic support services for students with disabilities. The coaches focus on enhancing individual’s use of executive functioning skills to manage their academic and emotional performance challenges they encounter.
The following criteria are used to determine whether a student is eligible for this resource:
- Documented learning or ADHD or other disability that affects academic functioning
- Student motivation for coaching
Student progress will be tracked on a semester-by-semester basis to evaluate the effectiveness of the coaching and academic coaches currently recommended by the college.
