Local and Organic Produce

Local and organic seasonal fruit station at Frank Hall

We are fortunate that in Southern California we can get farm-fresh, local produce year round.  We pay attention to what’s in season and try to buy from local and organic farmers as much as possible.  Buying local and organic means we are getting the freshest and healthiest produce possible.  We are proud of the relationships we have with many local farmers and often feature farmers in the dining halls.

We feature different local prorduce every Friday at Frary and every Monday at Frank. Check back weekly to see what we offer.

  • Salad Bar - Local Strawberry Rhubarb and Local Spring Mix
  • Hand Fruit - Heirloom Gold Rush Apples and Red D'Anjou Pears
  • Mainline - Orange Nantes Carrots

Dinner

  • Mainline - Russian Banana Fingerling Potatoes, Cauliflower Romanesco
  • Expo - Baby Sweet Peppers, Savoy Cabbage(Components of the Mandarin Chicken Salad)
  • Hand Fruit - Heirloom Gold Rush Apples and Red D'Anjou Pears
  • Pizza Station - Local Pizzoccheri Pasta with Local Fingerling Potatoes, Baby Spinach, and Local Savoy Cabbage
  • Salad Bar - Mixed Heirloom Tomatoes
