February 15, 2013

  • CSS\Financial Aid PROFILE
    • Available online (Pomona College school code: 4607)
    • Noncustodial Parents must complete the Noncustodial PROFILE (NCP). Students who indicate on the Profile that their parents are divorced/separated will receive a CSS ID and an initial password for the Non-Custodial Profile. The secure link to the Non-Custodial Profile, the CSS ID and the Initial Password, may be sent by email to the non-custodial parent.
    • NOTE: Families with annual total incomes of less than $40,000 and whose parents are eligible to file a Form 1040A or Form 1040EZ are exempt from the CSS\Financial Aid PROFILE requirement
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    • Available online beginning January 1, 2013 (Pomona College school code: 001173)
    • NOTE: Families whose 2012 federal tax returns have not yet been completed by the February 15, 2013, deadline should still complete the FAFSA application using estimated values.
  • Signed Copy of Parent(s)’ 2012 Federal Tax Returns or Parent Non-Filing Statement
    • For tax return filers, include all Schedules and Form W-2s
    • For non-filers, include all Form W-2s and the 2013-14 Parent Non-Filing Statement [pdf]
    • Submit to Pomona College via the College Board IDOC service.
    • NOTE: Parents who have not yet completed their 2012 federal tax returns by the February 15, 2013, deadline must mail in their 2011 federal tax returns directly to Pomona College Office of Financial Aid.  Once completed, the 2012 tax returns must be mailed to the College Board IDOC service.
  • Signed Copy of Student’s 2012 Federal Tax Returns or Student Non-Filing Statement
    • For tax return filers, include all Schedules and Form W-2s
    • For non-filers, include all Form W-2s and the 2013-14 Student Non-Filing Statement [pdf]
    • Submit to Pomona College via the College Board IDOC service.
    • NOTE: Students who have not yet completed their 2012 federal tax returns by the February 15, 2013, deadline must mail in their 2011 federal tax returns directly to Pomona College Office of Financial Aid.  Once completed, the 2012 tax returns must be mailed to the College Board IDOC service.
  • Signed 2013-14 Verification Worksheet
    • Available online beginning February 1, 2013 
    • Submit to Pomona College via the College Board IDOC service.
  • Signed Business Tax Returns (if applicable)
    • If your parent(s) own all or part of a Corporation, S-Corporation, or Partnership, they must submit a complete and signed copy of 2012 IRS Form 1120, 1120S or 1065, with K-1s and all related schedules.
    • Submit to Pomona College via the College Board IDOC service.
  • Signed Non-Custodial Parent 2012 Federal Tax Returns or Parent Non-Filing Statement (if applicable)

March 4, 2013

  • Cal Grant Program (California Residents)
    • To be considered for a Cal Grant award, you must: 
      • Complete either a 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov or a California Dream Application with the California Student Aid Commission at https://dream.csac.ca.gov by the March 2, 2013
      • Ensure that a certified Grade Point Average (GPA) is submitted to the California Student Aid Commission by March 2, 2013.
