9th Semester Aid

Students who receive permission from the Academic Procedures Committee to enroll full-time for a 9th semester or more in order to complete requirements for graduation are eligible to receive need-based financial aid. Need will be determined based on the same financial aid data submitted by all students applying for financial aid - FAFSA, CSS Profile, and current year tax returns - and Pomona's standard needs analysis methodology.  The demonstrated financial need is met through the following packaging structure (per semester):

Self-help

Student work  ($1,200 in 2012-13)
Student loans ($5,500 in 2012-13)

Scholarship

The remaining need is met with institutional scholarships.

Financial aid for part-time enrollment for a 9th semester or more is provided entirely through student loans.
