Form Details
IMPORTANT: Please read the below descriptions of each required form for details you will need to complete the aid process:
College Board CSS Profile
The CSS Profile is the primary aid application used by the Financial Aid Office to determine eligibility for institutional grant aid. This document also provides an early indication of eligibility for federal and state aid which is confirmed with the FAFSA application.
Non-Custodial Parent Profile Application
Applicants who report on the Profile form that their biological or adoptive parents are separated, divorced or were never married will receive an email from the College Scholarship Service requesting their non-custodial parent complete the electronic Non-Custodial Parent Profile Application. This application is separate from the Profile filed by the applicant and the custodial parent. Supporting tax documents, and a copy of a divorce decree or any other pertinent court documents must be sent directly to the Office of Financial Aid. For more information on the treatment of divorced or separated families, contact the Office of Financial Aid.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
All aid applicants must file a 2012-2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for federal and state aid including Pell, SEOG, and federal loan eligibility. The calculated EFC is not used to determine eligibility for Pomona Scholarship. This form has no processing fee and can be completed beginning January 1, 2012. Beginning with the 2012-2013 academic year, families are encouraged to use the IRS data retrieval when completing the FAFSA. See verification guidelines for details. Pomona's FAFSA code, 001173, must be reported on the FAFSA in order for Pomona to receive the necessary information. If you are a California resident, you must also check "yes" to the question releasing information to your state.
Non-Filing Status Statement
If you or your parents did not file a tax return for any year for which tax information is requested, please visit our forms page to download the appropriate Non-Filing statement. This form must be filed for each year a tax form was not filed by the parent or student.
Cal Grant GPA Verification Form
All California residents are required to apply for Cal Grants by filing a Cal Grant GPA Verification Form by the March 2nd deadline. This information, along with the information submitted with the FAFSA, is used to determine eligibility for the Cal Grant Program described in the State Aid Programs section of this website.
