Hotel

Double Tree Hotel

The Double Tree Hotel is approximately a mile away from Pomona College, with transportation to and from the conference. Thirty rooms has been reserved at the Double Tree Hotel for Wednesday, June 12th through Friday, June 14th. For those planning to arrive a day earlier, there are several rooms reserved for Tuesday, June 11th. Attendees are responsible for reserving their own rooms under the block provided by Pomona College. By mentioning that you are a guest of Pomona College and will be attending the COFHE Judicial Officers Conference, you can get the Pomona College discounted rate. Both single and double rooms are $115 per night. To get the college discounted rate, you will need to reserve a room before Friday, May 31st. Room check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. You may reserve the room online or over the phone at (909) 626-2411. Casa 425

Attendees may also reserve a room at Casa 425, which is within walking distance of Pomona College. However, the hotel does not offer the college discounted rate. For more information on Casa 425, please call their number at (909) 624-2272 or you can view their website here.

Travel

Claremont is located about 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and it is within traveling distance of four main airports: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Ontario Airport, John Wayne Airport (SNA), & Burbank Airport. Ontario Airport is the closest in distance to Pomona College and it is recommended that participants fly into this airport.

LAX is the largest airport in Los Angeles County and it is approximately 50 miles away from Pomona College. The LAX website can be viewed here.

Ontario Airport is located in the city of Ontario and it is approximately 10 miles away from Pomona College. The Ontario Airport website can be view here.

John Wayne Airport is located in the city of Santa Ana and it is approximately 40 miles away from Pomona College. The John Wayne Airport website can be viewed here.

Burbank Airport is located in the city of Burbank and it is approximately 40 miles away from Pomona College. The Burbank Airport website can be viewed here.

We strongly recommend that you contact the airlines directly 24 hours prior to departure to confirm details or changes. There are taxis, shuttles, buses, and trains that can be taken from all four airports to Pomona College.
