At Pomona, faculty members serve on a variety of committees
that are crucial to the both the College's academic program
and to its wider role in the life of students, alumni and
the community. Committees exist to address issues ranging
from academic standards to Study Abroad to radiation safety.

The Public Events Committee takes its mission to be the
enhancement of intellectual community at Pomona College. We
mean to facilitate campus-wide, cross-disciplinary
intellectual and social exchange among students, faculty
and staff.
