Proposal For Public Events Funding

Before submitting your proposal, please review the mission and methods of the Public Events Committee found on the Public Events Website (in the Academic Dean’s site on the Pomona Web).

Please note that recipients of Public Events funding are required to submit a brief assessment of the event within two weeks of its completion.

Description of Event: Be sure your description responds to the following questions: 1. What is the nature of the event? 2. Who is the projected audience for the event? 3. How will this event appeal to a broad segment of the campus community? 4. What steps will you take to ensure their participation?

Event Sponsor(s): Who is/are the sponsor(s) of the event? Events with a broad “ownership” frequently generate the greatest participation.

Event Date and Time: Please check the College calendar to avoid competing events and the proposed venue to make certain it is available.
