Rose Hills Theatre, Smith Campus Center, 170 E 6th Street
Dr. Myron S. Scholes is Chairman of Platinum Grove Asset Management, the Frank E. Buck Professor of Finance Emeritus at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1997. He co-wrote the paper that resolved one of the greatest financial puzzles ever: how to price options. His model is known as the Black-Scholes option pricing model, and it is regarded as the greatest discovery in finance. (This event has been moved to Wednesday, April 30... same time and location.)
