Hispanic College Fund: Offers several types of scholarships and provides links to other sources of funding for U.S. citizens of Hispanic/Latino origin

Indian Health Service Scholarship: Undergraduate and graduate awards for American Indian or Alaska natives preparing to enter a health profession and intending to serve Indian people upon completion of training.

NIH Undergraduate Scholarship: Applicable to tuition and other expenses for up to four years for students committed to careers in biomedical research and who meet the following criteria:. 1) U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or national of the U.S;. 2) full-time student at an accredited institution; 3) GPA of at least 3.5 on 4 point scale or ranked within the top 5% of the class; 4) from a disadvantaged background. ‘Disadvantaged background’ means either your undergraduate institution classifies you as having exceptional financial need using the Federal Government's standards, or you come from an environment that inhibited (but did not prevent) your obtaining the knowledge, skills, and ability required to enroll in college. If you do not qualify on the basis of exceptional financial need, you may still qualify as being from a disadvantaged background by providing a personal statement explaining your situation. In return for the scholarship, recipients commit to two types of service obligation for each year of scholarship: 10-week summer service as a paid employee in an NIH research laboratory, and after graduation, one year of full-time paid employment in an NIH research laboratory.

Tylenol Health Education Scholarships: Currently enrolled undergraduates with one or more years of college remaining and who are preparing for health-related careers are eligible for grants from the Tylenol Brand Scholarship Fund. Both $10,000 and $1,000 grants are awarded.e: Criteria include leadership, academic achievement, and intended focus in healthcare-related areas of study.Deadline is usually late April.
