What is Senior Survey?

Q: How do I let the Registrar know I will walk at Commencement?
A: You will receive a packet containing a Commencement Reply Card in April. You will be asked to submit the card to the Dean of Students Office in exchange for three complimentary Class Dinner tickets, and commencement invitations. Student IDs are required to pick up the tickets. (September and December graduates who are unable to come directly to the College may obtain their tickets and invitations by contacting the Dean's Office at (909) 621-8017.)

Q: What is the "Senior Salute"?
A: The Senior Salute will be held in February in Edmund's Ballroom in the Smith Campus Center.  It is an upscale, working party sponsored by the Senior Class President, Smith Campus Center, and Josten's to provide an opportunity for seniors to take care of what they need for commencement all in one place. In addition to ordering caps & gown, graduation announcements, yearbook, class ring, diploma frame, and a commencement DVD, graduating seniors can meet with the Alumni Office, Annual Giving, and Career Development to start familiarizing themselves with what it means to be a Pomona alum.

Q: What is Senior Survey?

A: Senior Survey is an important part of the end-of-year process for each graduating senior, and everyone who will be walking in May is asked to participate! The survey is your opportunity to provide valuable feedback to the College about your Pomona experience for use in planning and improving for future students.

You will receive your invitation to the Senior Survey in mid-April, and it should take about 30 minutes to complete. Please make time to respond to questions on each page of the survey, including an important set of questions about your future plans on the final page. Please complete your survey by May 5th. Print out the certificate of completion that is generated when you submit your survey and bring it with you to SCC 235 between the hours of 1p.m. and 4p.m. on May 5th and 6th in exchange for your cap and gown.

Questions about this survey can be directed to Jennifer Rachford in the Office of Institutional Research at seniorsurvey@pomona.edu.
