How do I find a Job?
Effective Use of Your Time
Because most jobs are found through networking, you should devote the largest part
of your time to that activity. However, the 24-hour availability of the Internet
allows you to make the most of nights and weekends when other avenues are unavailable.
Generally, you may want to apportion your job search time as follows:
50% Networking, 30% Internet and career fairs,
20% Ads and Agencies.Use the "Find a Job" links
on the left to review helpful information on conducting a job search.
Additionally, be sure to log on to Route 47 to check out alumni-to-alumni job
postings as well as postings from organizations specifically interested in
hiring alumni from the Claremont Colleges.
