What is the Alumni-to-Alumni Job Connection?
The Alumni-to-Alumni Job Connection is an online job board where you can search
for or post current job openings. As a Pomona alumnus, you can search jobs
listed by other Sagehens interested in hiring you. And, if you want to
hire a Pomona alumnus you can post a job for them to view.
Who has access to it?
Only Pomona College alumni can access the site--and for free! The site is
advertised to alumni through e-newsletters, Alumni Relations publications and
mailings, and the CDO Web for Alumni.
Why should I use it to search for jobs?
Your best resources in any job search are the connections you have already
established. The Alumni-to-Alumni Job Connection allows you to connect
with fellow Sagehens and provides job listings especially for alumni.
Networking and tapping into the hidden job market are your keys to landing a
high-quality position quickly.
Why should I use it to post a job opportunity?
You already know the quality of a Pomona College education and the caliber of
Pomona graduates. Why not access this talent pool for your
organization? By doing so, you help fellow Sagehens and strengthen your
Pomona connections as well. Wouldn't it be great to have a fellow Sagehen
at your organization?
How can I access it?
Contact the CDO by e-mail or
call (909) 621-8144 for the username and password. If you already have
them, click here to log in.
How do I post a job listing?
Once you have logged in simply follow the directions provided for submitting a
job opening. Be sure to complete all requested information. This
will ensure that your listing contains all necessary components for prospective
applicants who review the position and submit application materials.
If I post a job listing, do I need to be the one making the hiring decision?
You don't need to be the person doing the hiring to
post a position opening. One of the purposes of the job board is to
provide assistance via the Pomona College connection. In light of this,
the postings are most helpful when you include your own contact information as a
resource for the applicant.
Be considerate . . .
When contacting alumni and their employers, please remember to maintain a
respectful and professional approach.Login
