About Nicole Lechene . . .

Nicole Lechene serves as the Director of Alumni Career Services for the University of Georgia. UGA’s Alumni Career Services is housed off-campus in the Atlanta Alumni Center in order to accommodate the 50,000+ alumni residing in metro Atlanta. Nicole joined the UGA Career Center in 2003 as a career counselor and liaison to the Terry College of Business. In 2006, Nicole moved to the Atlanta Alumni Center and became the Associate Director of Alumni Career Services. Nicole earned her undergraduate degrees in Business and Public Relations at Pennsylvania State University, and completed her Master’s degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

For years, UGA has been offering career services for recent grads, but the current structure of alumni career services was formalized in 2005 and based out of the Atlanta Alumni Center. The inaugural Alumni Career Fair took place in June 2006, and UGA continues to build new partnerships and provide new resources including CareerBeam, InterviewStream, and more.
