Tipping Etiquette
The word TIP=To Insure Promptitude. There is no right or wrong when it comes to
tipping, just common sense. A tip is a sum of money contributed for a service
performed or anticipated. Tips are not required, but they are expected by many
people in the service industry.
Here are a few guidelines:
- Tip 20% for excellent service, 15% for good/adequate service.
- Carry a lot of dollar bills so that you don’t have to ask for change.
- Do not tip if a gratuity was already included in your bill.
- Say thank-you.
