The Housekeeping department performs routine custodial
operations for the campus. The Housekeeping staff is
responsible for maintaining over 1.2 million square feet of
academic and dormitory building space. Housekeepers
are asked to be alert to potential maintenance issues,
provide emergency clean-up and support the College's
Emergency Operation Plan. The department provides
limited on-campus storage (trunk rooms) for student use.
The following are examples of
housekeeping calls:
- Request for extra cleaning (e.g. offices, public areas,
restrooms)
- Unlock doors for lock-outs during regular business
hours
- Extra trash pick-up
- Building door opening
- Request for dorm bathroom cleaning
- Student lock-out calls
- Student dorm requests (e.g. mattress, furniture)
- Laundry service calls
- Recycle program questions
- Request for event furniture set-up and tear-down

5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
