President’s Advisory Committee On Sustainability |
| |
In Fall 2006, Pomona College President David Oxtoby
established the Presidential Advisory Committee on
Sustainability. This committee will review and monitor the
operations of campus that directly affect the College’s use
of resources and then develop strategies for increasing
campus sustainability. With this information, the committee
develops an annual assessment of the College’s
sustainability and present it at the end of each year to the
president and the Board of Trustees’ Building and Grounds
Committee. These annual reports will also be available to
the full College community. Over time, these reports will
help the College develop a system of goals, benchmarks, and
indicators of success for sustainability on campus.
