Romeo &
Juliet On Stage at Pomona College

The Department of Theatre & Dance at Pomona College, which
serves as the theatre department for The Claremont Colleges,
will present William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, March 31
– April 2.
Performances for this heart-wrenching tale of young love,
are March 31 - April 2 at 8:00 p.m., and April 2 & 3 at 2:00
p.m. in the Seaver Theatre, 300 E. Bonita Ave., Claremont.
Ticket prices are $5.00 for faculty, staff, seniors &
students and $10.00 for general admission. For further

Monday through Friday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Visiting Professor Boots Y. Pascual is directing the Pomona
College production. The fight direction is by professional
stunt coordinator Ken Merczk and the guest dance
choreographer is student Molly Rogers (Scripps’05). Scenic
design is theatre Professor and Chair, James P. Taylor of
the Theatre & Dance Department. Guest artist Steven Lee is
designing the costumes and guest designer Peter Gottlieb is
designing the lighting. Vanessa Rundle (Pitzer’08) is the
stage manager. Students from all five of the Claremont
Colleges undergraduate institutions are in the production.
