Pomona
College Dance Concert 2005

The Department of Theatre & Dance at Pomona College will
present DANCE CONCERT 2005 on April 28-30 at 8 p.m. and May
1 at 2 p.m. Tap, modern and jazz-style dance will be
presented under Pomona College Dance Program Artistic
Director Laurie Cameron. The performers include students and
alumni from the five Claremont Colleges and the Claremont
School of Theology.
The innovative and exciting dances are by guest artists,
faculty, graduating dance majors and students. Guest artists
Nick Haim and D.J. Gray, from New York, and Maria Gillespie,
from Los Angeles, will perform. Dance majors Eli Liliedahl-Allen,
Pomona College, and Gabe Anderson, Pitzer College, will each
present a choreographed piece as part of their senior
projects in dance. Choreographers include faculty members
Kim Gadlin and Cameron, and Pomona seniors Ben Grossman-Kahn
and Alison Rapoport.
The concert will be held at the Pomona College Seaver
Theatre, 300 East Bonita Ave., Claremont. Ticket Prices are
$5 for faculty, staff, seniors & students; and $10 for
