resources, students, and community...
The Pomona College Summer Intern Partnership (PCSIP) is a program designed to
help talented, eager college students obtain paid summer employment at
California nonprofit organizations. Students are sponsored by corporations and
corporate foundations interested in strengthening ties with community nonprofits
and layering community support efforts. By dedicating dollars in support of a
student summer internship, you will spread goodwill and become a partner with
area nonprofits and Pomona College students. An internship is fully sponsored at
a cost of $5,750. This per student cost covers hourly pay for a 10-week,
full-time summer internship; partial reimbursement for travel and/or housing
expenses incurred by the student intern; and a minimal percentage applied toward
program administration costs.
Students provide valuable services while working as highly-qualified summer
interns. They gain professional skills and enhance their marketability with paid
work experience upon graduation, while assisting community service organizations
to fulfill their own missions. This program is a competitive internship program
made available to Pomona College students in all disciplines.

Participating Nonprofit Organizations |

As a new program, PCSIP provides an opportunity for enthusiastic and
accomplished undergraduate students to have a paid summer experience with a
nonprofit organization. In turn, nonprofits benefit from the skills, innovation,
energy, and perspectives of a talented liberal arts student. An intern or
corporate donor may request a partnership with a nonprofit organization in any
of the following fields:
Arts & Museums/Performing Arts
Business/Economics
Communication/Publications
Education
Entertainment
Environment
Government/International Relations
Public Policy
Science/Medicine/Public Health
