(Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and to provide to Pomona copies of their most recently filed federal tax returns. Families who file the Form 1040 federal tax return are also required to file the College Scholarship Service PROFILE financial aid application.

The College evaluates each student's eligibility for federal, state, and Pomona sources of aid based on the student's FAFSA and PROFILE applications and supporting tax documents.

View the schedule of deadlines for a complete guide to required forms and deadlines. Please note which documents are listed for the relevant program and read the description for each form. You may not need to submit every document listed, but if you fail to submit the necessary forms by the stated deadlines, you could be ineligible for financial aid during your first term at Pomona.

Special information for families with incomes below $40,000
For students who come from families with incomes of less than $40,000, Pomona College has simplified the application process. Students who qualify under this provision must complete a FAFSA. The College will also need a copy of the parents’ most recent federal tax return. If the student’s parents did not file a federal tax return, a Statement of Non-Filing Tax Status must be completed. Additionally, families must have filed a 1040A or 1040EZ tax return to waive the Profile requirement.
