Assessing diversity at the College With the help of a Campus Diversity Initiative grant from
the James Irvine Foundation in 2001 and continuing with the
President’s Advisory Committee on
Diversity, the College has undertaken a more data-driven approach to cultivating a dynamically diverse
campus community. The following framework provides a comprehensive focus to
the College’s efforts and serves as a guide for managing and
assessing diversity on campus.

dimensions of the assessment framework and highlights some
of Pomona's ongoing efforts in its assessment of campus
