Leading Finance Expert Lectures on Distressed Investing
Mark Patterson, co-founder and chairman of Global Advisors, LLC, will speak on “Finding Value in the Rubble: Distressed Investing During the Financial Crisis,” followed by a 30-minute Q&A session, on Thursday, December 4 at 4:15 p.m. at Pomona College.
Patterson’s company manages more than $9 billion in distressed funds—reconstructing companies on the verge of collapse. His 35 years of financial markets experience include a vice-chairman position at Credit Suisse First Boston, and positions at Scully Brothers & Foss L.P., Salomon Brothers Inc. and Bankers Trust Company. Patterson serves on the Board of Directors of Allied World Assurance in Bermuda, among others.
