Research by Danny Low '11 Featured in the Press
Danny Low '11 has spent several months studying abroad in East Africa, working in several locations on projects like HIV/AIDs awareness and education, researching poor patient outcomes in Kenyan patients with tuberculosis and HIV (which will be published in the Journal of Investigative Medicine), and researching street children in Mombassa. This January 13 profile from the Kirkland Reporter highlights his work abroad and how Low wants to dedicate his life to this type of public service: "What is the purpose of my life? Helping people and being happy. Happiness is so tied to health care, seeing the ocean and walking through forests."
