Spring Theatre Production, "The Notebook of Trigorin," Opening Thursday
The Theatre Department’s latest production will debut at the Seaver Theatre this Thursday. The Notebook of Trigorin, the Tennessee Williams' interpretation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, tells the story of two troubled writers and two tragic actresses set at a family estate in Russia in the 1890s. Directed by Professor of Theatre Betty Bernhard, the play stars Gabriel Pena PO ‘11 as the young writer Constantine, Maggie Dickman SC ‘11 as Constantine’s mother Arkadina, Emily Grace Cole SC ‘13 as Constantine’s childhood friend and love interest Nina, and Benjamin Bell PI ‘10 as the established writer Trigorin, who impresses Nina with his maturity and prestige.
General admission tickets are $10. For students, faculty, staff and seniors, tickets are $5. Performances run March 4th through 6th at 8 p.m., with matinees on the 5th and 6th at 2 p.m. For more information, please contact the Seaver Theatre Box Office at (909) 607-4380.
