Daily Bulletin Posts a Historic Look at the Life of Frank Seaver '05
The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin offers a historic piece today on Frank Seaver '05, whose philanthropy has long affected Pomona College. A biology major who made his fortune through innovations in the oil industry and a Pomona College trustee from 1947 to 1964, Frank Seaver funded the initial construction of Seaver South, Seaver North and Millikan. The Seaver Family Trust has also made significant contributions to Pilgrim Congregational Church in Pomona, Pepperdine University, Loyola Marymount University, and Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles.
