New Theatre Production, "There's One in Every Marriage," Playing This Weekend
This weekend, take in a farce as There's One in Every Marriage, the second fall production from the Theatre Department, opens. This energetic, comedic Georges Feydeau play concerns extramarital affairs, deceptions, mistaken identities, coincidences and ruses. Feydeau, recognized as one of the great French playwrights of his era, wrote 60 plays and was known for witty farces with complex plots. Beneath the madness and frivolity of the characters lies cutting realism and nighmarish intensity.

The play runs this Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. with two matinees on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the Seaver Theatre box office (300 E. Bonita Ave., Claremont, CA) Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and one hour prior to curtain time.
