Pomona College's Senior Auditing Program Featured on NBC's "Nightly News"

On February 20, NBC's "Nightly News" featured the benefits of retiring in college towns, from sporting and cultural events to taking classes and feeling young. Pomona College is highlighted in a section discussing class auditing, with Professor of History Gary Kates explaining, "The seniors and their questions and reactions to the class material can model a different approach to the material and therefore deepens what can happen in class."

For information on the auditing program, Claremont Avenues for Lifelong Learning, call the Claremont Senior Program at (909) 399-5488 or visit Claremont's senior classes website.
