Flurry of Media Coverage on Forbes Ranking Prompts Outburst of Sagehen Pride on Social Media
Pomona College has been in the middle of a swirl of media attention since Forbes magazine announced their 2013 Top Colleges ranking with Pomona College placed No. 2 following Stanford. It’s the first time California schools topped the list since Forbes began publishing the list six years ago.
President David Oxtoby has been interviewed on the KPCC FM program “AirTalk,” KTLA Television News and KNX Radio, among other media outlets. Stories have also appeared on MSNBC, KPCC.org, CBSLA.com, Reuters News Service, and in the Daily Bulletin. There were also announcements on KPCC Radio and KIISRadio during drive time.
