Bernard Field Station Fire Causes No Injuries, No Structural Damage
A fire this afternoon on the southeast corner of the Bernard Field Station caused no injuries and no structural damage. The fire was extinguished by 5 p.m. this evening.
The Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station, an academic resource of The Claremont Colleges, is located on approximately 86 acres just north of the campuses of The Claremont Colleges in Claremont, California. The mission of the Field Station is to provide facilities and ecological communities for high-quality teaching and research experiences in the biological, environmental and other sciences to the students, faculty and staff of the Claremont Colleges.
