This week in Pomona-Pitzer Athletics saw the winter sports go undefeated in the first week of SCIAC play, with Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball both sweeping Cal Lutheran and Caltech, and Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving opening up with home wins over Cal Lutheran.

Alaina Woo '17 and Basha Brulee-Wills PI '17 also had 10 points apiece. Pomona-Pitzer then held off a stubborn challenge from Caltech on the road, capturing a 53-48 win to improve to 2-0 in league play as Okonkwo had 15 points and Brulee-Wills had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Men's Basketball also swept its SCIAC opening week with a 75-64 win over Cal Lutheran on Wednesday and an 87-60 win at Caltech on Saturday. Michael Cohen '15 finished with a team-high 19 points.

Both basketball teams travel across the street to meet CMS in the first of two neighborhood rivalry games this season, with the men facing the Stags on Wednesday night at 7:30, and the women following suit on Thursday night at 7:30.
