Pomona-Pitzer Athletics saw winter sports go undefeated in the first week of SCIAC play. Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball both swept Cal Lutheran and Caltech, and Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving won over Cal Lutheran.

This week in Pomona-Pitzer Athletics, the Men's Basketball team won the unofficial tournament championship as the only team with a 2-0 record, while the Women's Basketball team picked up its first win of the year.

The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Cross Country team won the NCAA West Regional championship for the first time since 1982, and the Men's Basketball team started the season with a win over nationally ranked St. Thomas.

This coming week will see three Pomona-Pitzer teams in the NCAA Championships, the Football team battle CMS in the annual Sixth Street Rivalry game, and the Men's and Women's Basketball teams start their 2013-14 campaigns.

Pomona-Pitzer Athletics saw the Volleyball team and Women's Soccer team end the season in second place in the SCIAC, Men's Cross Country team finish a close second in the conference championships, and the Men's Water Polo team pick up a win.
