Pomona Community to Engage in Day of Thanks and Celebration on 4/7

Students, staff, faculty and alumni are coming together on Monday, April 7, for a day-long celebration of everything that is Pomona College at the first-ever Pomona Promise Day. In honor of the number 47 and the incredible dedication to service in the Pomona College community, Pomona Promise Day should be a special and fun day to step back and engage in a community-wide celebration of thanks to all who make the Pomona College experience possible.

From 2-5 p.m., the Smith Campus Center lawn will host a number of activities, including a photo booth, DJ booth and trivia competition from KSPC, a "Get the Scoop on Giving" ice cream booth with Handel's Ice Cream, a card station where people can write thank-you cards to donors, and special performances by Mariachi Serrano de Claremont and Women's Blue and White. Later that evening, the Class of 2014 and the Office of Alumni Relations will host a screening of Disney's Frozen on a big screen on Marston Quad, accompanied by snacks and Donut Man treats.
