Ways to Help Pomona College
Just as students build lasting bonds with classmates and professors, Pomona offers parents many ways to build ties to the campus and to each other that endure even after their students graduate. Whether it’s helping to welcome new families, connecting at Family Weekend, participating at career events, or supporting the Parents Fund, Pomona is eager to make us part of the community! We welcome your involvement!

Career Development
Through the Career Development Office, become a parent career adviser, participate in career day panels, allow students to interview you about your profession, invite students to shadow you for a day or support an internship for a Pomona student.
Welcome New Families
Make a phone call to new parents or host a welcome party. Be sure to let us know if you speak a second (or third) language.
Support the Parents Fund
Gifts to the Parents Fund ensure that world class academics and broad experiential learning opportunities are available to every current Pomona student. In 2011-2012 alone, gifts from parents totaled well over $500k and were used directly in support of academic programs and student life experiences, including internships, study abroad and summer undergraduate research. Please consider giving to the Parents Fund to make a difference in the everyday lives of today’s Sagehens!
