Associate Dean of Students

Neil Gerard

Neil is
responsible for the overall operation of Smith Campus Center, advises the ASPC
Senate and serves as an on-call Dean. He is a member of
College-wide committees including Study Abroad, Public Events, the President's
Committee on
Sustainability and serves as Pomona's representative to the International Place
Advisory Council. He is currently serving as the Director of Bridges
Auditorium.

John Lopes

John is responsible for approving all events with alcohol and all the campus
space reservation process. In addition, John advises the Interfraternity Council and
oversees the Building Managers and CCAVES (Campus Center Audio Visual Services)
program. John also supervises operation of Halona Lodge.

Ellie Ash

Ellie co-advises the ASPC Senate, working closely with ASPC’s Budget Committee
and Speaker’s Committee. In addition, she advises CCLA and the 47 Things
trips program. She oversees all club and organization registration.
Ellie
also works with Grace, the ASPC Accounts Assistant, to maintain the ASPC and
Sundry financial accounts.

Susan Deitz

Susan is responsible for Orientation Adventure (OA) for all new students.
She is the Director of the SCC Art Gallery and advises the Ballroom Dance
Company, On the Loose and the college yearbook, the "Metate." Susan also
oversees the use and maintenance of the college vehicles, the Sagecoach and the
Sagehen Shuttle and sends out the daily Digester email.
Director of College Radio & Television
Erica Tyron
Erica is responsible for advising and instructing the staff at KSPC 88.7FM (the campus radio station), Studio 47 (student video organization), and CCTV
(Claremont Colleges Television, cable channel). She oversees operations and
equipment needs for each organization and ensures compliance with FCC
regulations at the radio station. The Director of College Radio and Television
also serves as a part of the Campus Center management team.
Manager of Retail Services
Brenda Schmit
Brenda works directly with the student managers and all of the employees in the Coop Store and Fountain to ensure that the business runs as smoothly as possible. In addition to supervising the hiring and training of all employees and budgeting of the Store and Fountain, Brenda is responsible for overseeing and programming the recreation
activities. Brenda is a member of the Campus Center management team and Coop Committee.
Accounting Assistant & Office Supervisor
Grace Stewart
Grace is responsible for the day-to-day fiscal operations of the ASPC Office including cash receipts and accounts payable. She reconciles bank accounts, files taxes and maintains account records for ASPC businesses, Pomona and Five-College Organizations.
ASPC Desk Supervisor
Susan Sellons
Susan works with student organizations, scheduling events and managing their accounts; sells tickets for on-campus and off campus activities; and processes payroll for numerous student programs. Susan is also responsible for the operation of the Business Office including supervising student staff, check requests and non-academic space reservations.
Mail Center Supervisor
Glenn Gillespie
Glenn supervises the student mail service including mail and parcel distribution, forwarding and all necessary record keeping. Glenn also hires, trains and supervises all student employees of the mail center and serves as a part of the Campus Center management team.
Mail Assistant
Dolores Maynard
Dolores assists with all facets of the operation of the student mail center. She assists the Mail Center supervisor with all duties and supervision of student employees and serves as a part of the Campus Center management team.
