Services/Programs: Mailroom
Welcome to the Smith Campus Center Student Mail Services. All Pomona College students are assigned a mailbox where they are able to receive mail and packages during the school year. Students retain the same mailbox number while they are enrolled in Pomona College. Mail and packages are received at the mailing address listed. Please ensure that the student's name and mailbox number are on everything that is sent so that there are no delays in delivery.

Graduating Seniors
Congratulations on completing your undergraduate studies here at Pomona College.
We want to wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. The Mailroom will
forward your mail to your permanent address automatically. If there is another
address that you want your mail forwarded to please come by the mailroom before
you leave campus and give us the new address. Please remember that we will
forward your mail until August 1 for May graduates and until March 1 for
December graduates. After those dates your mail will be returned to sender.
Please turn in your mailbox keys before you leave campus.
Student Employment
If you are interested in working in the SCC Student Mail Services, please submit an application to Student Mail Services in the Smith Campus Center.
Receiving Packages
The Mailroom receives package deliveries all day long from the various
shipping companies. Most packages are received in the afternoon, as is the mail,
with the exception being overnight packages. When they are delivered, packages
are entered into our package tracking software which automatically sends the
student an email for each package received. If you receive three packages you
will receive three emails. The software also allows us to have students sign
electronically for their packages making the entire process paperless. We ask
that students wait until they receive the email from us before coming to inquire
about a package.
Tracking Your Incoming Package
Here is a list of the most commonly used carriers and links to their package tracking websites.
Purchasing Stamps on Campus
The place to purchase postage stamps on campus is the stamp machine
located in the ATM Room next to the Coop Store. The machine contains first class
stamps in books of 10 and 20, International stamps in books of 5, and postcard
stamps in books of 5. For other postage needs there is a US Post Office on the
corner of 2nd and Harvard which is a short distance from the Campus Center.
Lost Mailbox Keys
If you lose your mailbox key you will need to purchase a new one from
Mailroom counter between 8am and 5pm Monday. The Mailroom staff is not
able to retrieve mail for students who have lost or are not in possession of
their mailbox key.
