Services/Programs: Escorts & Safe Rides
Escorts
If you are traveling on campus after dark, you should always do so in groups of
two or more people. If you need to walk alone and want an escort, you
can call Campus Safety at x72000 and they will provide an officer to escort you
to your dorm or other building on campus.
If you are ill or injured and need assistance getting to and from your
classes, you can request an escort pick you up and transport you in a golf cart.

Safe Rides
Between the hours of 10 p.m. - 2 a.m. seven days a week you may receive a FREE RIDE
HOME (via Yellow Cab) from Claremont, Ontario, Montclair, Pomona, Rancho
Cucamonga and La Verne.
Just dial (909) 622-1313 and give them your name and Pomona College ID# and you can receive a ride to your
dorm or off-campus house at no charge to you.
**This is NOT a shuttle service. Safe Rides is meant for students who find
themselves unable to drive back to campus/home. UNAUTHORIZED USE WILL BE BILLED
TO YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT.
