The following description is meant as a guide to help you decide which
trip most suits your desires and abilities. These descriptions are not intended
as comprehensive itineraries and are subject to change.
Ferry out to beautiful Catalina Island for sun-drenched
camping and beach activities. You’ll camp on a bluff
overlooking the ocean and Two Harbors, a small village
on the beach. From there, your group can take an easy
kayak paddle out to the sea caves, or snorkel off the
coast. You can rent bikes and hike in the hills
surrounding Two Harbors. At the naturalist center, you
can learn about the unique ecology of the Channel
Islands. Closer to camp, there will be ample time to
relax on the beach and challenge your classmates to a
game of volleyball or badminton. In the evenings you’ll
roast marshmallows and watch the stars come out over the
Pacific.
