The following description is meant as a guide to help you decide which trip
most suits your desires and abilities. These descriptions are not intended as
comprehensive itineraries and are subject to change.

Your eyes will be sorer than your legs as you stroll
through this famous park and survey the marvelous
wonders that surround you. From your base in Yosemite
Valley, you can venture out onto a network of trails
that will satisfy both ambitious hikers and those you
enjoy a more leisurely pace. In addition to the valley
trails, you will be ferried to a Glacier Point trailhead
perched high above the valley floor. Enjoy stunning
panoramas as you hike back down into the valley,
stopping for lunch by Emerald Pool and passing Nevada
and Vernal Falls. You may also bike along the valley
trails, float down the Merced River to cool off, and
enjoy an interpretive program led by a professional
guide.
In the evening, you will retire to your Curry Village tent cabin, a unique
hybrid of tent camping and a rustic cabin experience. All tent cabins have
electric lighting and beds with linens. Flush toilets, hot showers, and basic
goods are available at Curry Village stores and restaurants. You will prepare
hot meals at the nearby Housekeeping Camp, on the banks of the Merced River.
This trip is an outstanding opportunity for students who want to access
world-famous natural wonders without committing to a full outdoors experience.
