International Student Orientation - 2014

download our mobile guide

International students on a student visa are required to attend the New International Student Orientation program through International Place of The Claremont Colleges (I-Place). New International Student Orientation for Pomona College students will take place on Thursday and Friday, August 21 and 22, before the Pomona College orientation program begins. U.S. Citizens coming from abroad are strongly encouraged to attend this orientation.

All international students must fill out the New Student/Scholar form found on the New Student/Scholar Welcome Page on the I-Place website. Filling out this form will also confirm your participation in New International Student Orientation.

If necessary, I-Place will arrange an airport pick-up and a temporary home-stay family for you until your Pomona College residence hall move-in and Pomona College orientation begins. I-Place recommends that New International Student Orientation participants make plans to arrive in Claremont on Tuesday, August 19, or Wednesday, August 20.
