Who Are We? 

Collins Kariuki is a junior from Nairobi, Kenya pursuing computer science and physics. Once he graduates, he plans to go to the technology industry as a software engineer and then pursue a master's degree in biomedical engineering. When not working at the CDO, you can find him playing pickup soccer, and recently, Ultimate Frisbee, or practicing for a cappella. Collins loves watching comedy shows, grabbing meals with friends, and listening to mellow rap music at his leisure. He plans to frequent the gym more often and try out more cuisines. Collins hopes to give you his undivided attention and assistance relating to matters concerning your academic and professional growth.


Amanda Eric is a sophomore from Magnolia, DE interested in double majoring in cognitive science and environmental sciences. She is interested in pursuing a career in climate tech. When not working at the CDO, you can find her water coloring at the HIVE or vibing to soft jazz & neo-soul with her Black SONY headphones on. During her free time, Amanda spends most of her time picnicking with friends or watching Netflix with a warm cup of tea. This year she has committed herself to find balance through journaling, inner child activities, and doing puzzles. Amanda hopes to provide a friendly and welcoming environment you need to explore and identify your career interests.


Kevin Wu is a senior at Pomona College studying math and economics. He hails from Naperville, IL, and enjoys drinking green tea. Outside of the CDO, you can find Kevin boiling tea in the Math Lounge and conducting introspective walks in the evening on Marston Quad. Kevin is extraordinarily excited to work with students at the CDO and help explore, discover, and map out where they want to go.


Beliz Aluc is a senior majoring in international relations and minoring in history. She is an international student from Istanbul, Turkey. She is interested in pursuing a career in management consulting after graduation. She is an International Relations Liaison and an ISMP Mentor. Outside of CDO, you can find her at the gym or Cafe 47 getting her daily caffeine intake


Tara Weil is a senior from Cary, IL majoring in Russian and Eastern European Studies and minoring in media studies. She is interested in the arts and entertainment industries, especially in screenwriting and publishing. On campus, she participates in the Animation Club and 5x5 Film. She also enjoys playing board games, binging Love Island, and is hoping to bake more now that she has five suitemates to share brownies with. At the CDO, Tara aims to help students through any part of the career development process and guide them to the individualized resources they need.


Suhasini (Sui) Singh is a sophomore at Pomona College, majoring in economics. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, her dog’s Instagram account, and acai. In her free time, you can find her going on drives with friends and cuddling up with a good book. During her time at Pomona, she hopes to increase female representation in finance and create a safe and inclusive environment for international students. 


Olivia Marble is a junior from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is undeclared, but she plans on majoring in Public Policy Analysis with a concentration in either Sociology or Africana Studies. She wants to use what she learns to help create better policies that benefit the black community and other minority groups. She is also involved in the OBSA mentorship program and the Pomona Events Committee. In her free time, she enjoys skateboarding with friends and trying new foods in the city!


Krystal Yang is a senior from San Jose, California majoring in English. She is interested in social media, marketing, and communications work. Last summer, Krystal worked as a global marketing intern at L'Oreal, and she will be returning to L'Oreal after graduation for a full-time role in digital marketing. When not at the CDO, you can find Krystal performing with the 5C Dance Company or reading a fantasy novel at a cafe.


Vidusshi (Vids) Hingad is a sophomore from Mumbai, India intending to double major in psychology and gender and women studies. She is interested in representing marginalized communities by advocating for educational equality and egalitarianism. Her areas of academic interest revolve around developmental psychology, sociolinguistics, gender studies, and epistemological research. She is passionate about writing, theatre for change, and public speaking. She is a team member of Pomona College Mock Trial, a staff writer for the Arts and Culture section of The Student Life, and a member of Tamasha Dance. When she’s not finishing school work, you can find her conducting interviews for TSL, drawing mind maps at the hive, or eating at Bua Thai. Vidusshi hopes to provide support and encouragement to her fellow peers by fostering a community between the CDO and students.
